This plant is located in southern Honduras, in the municipality of Nacaome, 102 km from the capital, along the CA-1 highway, at coordinates (WGS84 Datum): Latitude 14°94’96″N and Longitude 44°00’81″W. Its main entrance and center are located at 43°91’75” and 14°94’517″, at 30. Río Lindo hydroelectric plant (Central Hidroeléctrica Río Lindo) is an operating hydroelectric power plant in San Francisco de Yojoa, Cortés, Honduras. The long-term inclusion of local employees was a main objective of our project partner CISA. [3]There has been an intensive use of small- and medium-scale hydro energy, with 14 out of 16 existing hydro plants with capacity below 30 MW.
