Construction of the 73 MW Hornet Solar project began in late August 2024 with targeted commercial operations expected in Q3 of 2026. The project is located on approximately 525 acres of privately-owned land in Gaston and Lincoln Counties, North Carolina. Equipped with solar panels, diesel generators, R30 walls, and advanced HVAC systems, this container-based structure is going to be the lifeline for.
