Multiple solar container tanks

Both drainback and pressurized systems can use a multi-tank setup for space heating. In either case, the solar loop is the main heat source and the tanks are plumbed in parallel, so they all heat at the same rate and so that heat is removed at the same rate across all. Each Multi Energy Tank is available with or without a heat exchanger, in 60, 80 or 115 gallon capacities. The Large Volume Solar Tanks allow you to achieve cost efficient solar storage in an ASME rated storage vessel. Efficient heat exchange can be achieved through the immersed coil heat exhangers or through the use of external plate frame heat exhangers.
