Introduction

An excavator accumulator is a type of hydraulic energy storage device or a pressure vessel that is used to store hydraulic energy in the form of pressurized fluid. It is typically made up of a gas chamber and a fluid chamber, with a piston or diaphragm separating them. The functionality of this free-wheeling spinning allows an excavator operator to quicklyin a similar way. When the exhaust valve opens, the energy stored in the energy converter is released, pushing the per ussion piston downwards with great force.
