Introduction
Across the country, in a first-of-its-kind trial, we’re using an interconnected network of electric vehicles towing aerodynamically designed pods to transport and deliver solar panels to customers’ homes ready for installation - and by reducing both miles and engine. Through this agreement, AMPLY will design, construct and operate a charging facility leveraging INRUSH charging capsules and AMPLY’s OMEGA Charge Management System to support ATN’s entire electric fleet of 46 transit buses for two years. Red Hook Container Terminals LLC announced today that it has begun regular commercial operation of ten (10) BYD Motors heavy-duty zero-emission battery electric yard tractors at its container terminal in Port Newark, New Jersey. As demand for Electric Vehicles (EVs) rises, shipping them in containers requires careful risk assessment due to the hazards of Lithium-Ion batteries.
